Classic tale of Peter, The Lost Boys, The Darling kids, Tinkerbell, and Captain Hook and Smee.
I have been searching high and low for these classic Disney die-cut cover books. I love the quality of the ends and pages, and the hard covers. The stories stick very closely to the Disney movies of the same names, but get to the point of the stories a bit quicker. Even some of the dialogue is identical. But what I love most about these books are the extremely vibrant colors. Each page is as colorful as the next and they really keep my preschooler's attention. The print is a good size too, so she is starting to try and read along with me. Additionally, I have noticed that she seems hesitant about watching a movie she hasn't seen before, but if we read the book first, she wants to watch the movie also. These books have helped introduce her to many classics she might not have otherwise seen. They are great for bedtime, in the car, at Grandma's house, anywhere! I just wish they were easier to find, and a little less expensive. Overall, I would totally recommend Disney Classic Die-Cut books to anyone!
My daughter loves Peter Pan after watching "Hook." She has a book of Disney classic stories and she loves that this Little Golden version goes into more detail. It's a solid ten minute story. Little Golden books are a great deal. I love the hard backs and they remind me of the ones I had as a child.
I bought this to use with the Google "Read With Disney" skill and was not disappointed. A fun story for the kids, mine love it and along with my Google home it plays music and sound effects that heighten the story telling experience.
I usually love Little Golden books but I’d skip this one. Way too wordy for a 3 year old. My kid has seen the movie so she pays attention to the story, but other kids might not sit still.
I ordered this as a gift for a friend, who is a huge fan of Peter Pan, and I am pleased with the quality and condition of the book!
