Honestly, I didn't read Knight until after I had read the whole rest of the series. It was fun knowing that VP had this whole crazy backstory, but I saved him for last. So glad I did! I love this series and I love the way everyone respects and lays a wide path around VP (well, except for Ricky but that's a whole other review).

I absolutely love this book and the author. I am soooo glad I found this author. I started with the Baxter books then went to her website and read everything she has in order. I just finished the last book. I am going to be on a serious book (actually series I guess) hangover. There is so much detail and character development in the books that you feel like you actually know these people. I am constantly amazed the author's detail, knowledge and imagination. This is a definite must read for everyone as is each book in the series. I will be on pins and needles awaiting each new release.

Loved Steve and Jess and all thIS coming together this book has so many things happening it will make you read until the end. Now I am starting on Danny and Tess story can't wait to see what happen to these two.

I really enjoyed this book. It went farther than most HEA books and was not just phorn, lolThis one of the first MC books that I have enjoyed. Glad I found you. PS I don't write many reviews.

I'm all ready looking forward to book 2. Jess and Steve's story was a great start to this series. I love how all the characters interact with each other.

I loved the Baxter's so a took a chance on this tie in series. I'm not a fan of MC stories, having known a few guys that ride growing up, I don't like the negative, thug focus a lot take. I have read a few good ones and this is a good one.Steve Knight is the VP of the club. Former SEAL who served with Jamie and Kevin Baxter. He turned down a job with Baxter Security to work for the club he grew up in. While he wasn't proud of the illegal activities they were involved in they are his family. Things are changing. With the president dead, Steve's best friend Ben is now in charge and is moving the club into legal businesses, while holding on to their core beliefs.Jess is the CFO of the flooring company Steve works at, he has been trying for 3 years to get her to go out with him and she finally said yes.Jess grew up in foster care. She is off a bad marriage and is cautious around men. She likes what she sees in Steve and takes a chance.Steve and Jess click. She makes a good impression on his club brothers and their old ladies. Happily puts her financial skills into work helping the club grow their businesses and investing in the future.I loved that their story unfolds over 5 years. Loved Steve and Jess. Loved little Ben and little Jess, can't wait for their stories. Loved the Baxter family tie in and what Steve did for Mitch. Will be reading the next book.The story is steamy, with light BDSM.Free at the time of this review on Amazon.

Fun read, well worth it. Spoiler knight features prominently, in Ricky book 10 of this serries. After she skipped around to a couple very related series a reading order list is necessary if your going to explore in a timeline.

I give this book 5 stars because the story line from the beginning to the end was right on point. I can't wait to read the rest of the series of MC. Will also recommend this book for adult. Awesome job L. Ann Marie👌

Creepy Archives 22 start off with a truly great cover done by Esteban Maroto who has been missing from Warren magazines during that time period. This cover comes from issue 105. Another one of the missing is Ken Kelly who put an Exterminator robot on the cover of issue 104. The final two issue covers are done by Roman Kukalis. Regarding the issues themselves, we have reached early 1979 and as can be expected, with the Star Wars phenomena still going on, there is a heavy tilt towards Sci-Fi. Thematic issues continue with #104 (robots), #106 (sword & sorcery) and #107 (all Sci-Fi). My opinion is that the best issue is the non-thematic one (# 105). “Shrivel” written by Bob Toomey / art by Val Mayerik is a Creepy classic in that it is very off beat and humorous and I truly haven’t seen a story like this since Rich Corben used to do them. I will not give away the plot. # 105 also has a vampire story, a werewolf story, aliens and an unnamable monster. I think the surprise story in #106 is “The Art of Killing” written by Larry Hama and drawn by Mayerik. It was great to read an exotic martial arts story in a horror/Sci-Fi magazine. One thing that was sad to see was an advertisement on page 109. Sci-Fi posters for sale are on this page and they are awesome to look at but these were color posters and I have an old Warren magazine that you could really spend some time looking at them in awe. Too bad we don’t know who the artists were and that I didn’t buy one back in the day. Warren magazines were loaded with advertising and for you who are nostalgia buffs, Star Wars memorabilia dominated for a long time. I wish Dark Horse would have included some of that (not all of it…just some) to get a feel for what was selling back then. Getting back to this archives, this one rates four stars for artwork and stories. I just felt that there weren’t too many stories that really blew me away. However, with that said, there’s really nothing that bad here. For many of you who may have never seen these stories before, you will probably enjoy them very much.

fantastic collection of classic horror stories

Surprisingly boring.

Aside from that awful first story this is a pretty good offering from the warren archives. Alex Nino offers some weird but wonderful tales, clowns exiled to the moon but makes them work. A hilarious portly dragon eats a motley kingdom in another. There is a traditional werewolf but even that is given twist at the end. All well done, except for covers 3 and 4 done by an artist I won't even name, they would have been better off just putting a panel from one of the stories, they're that bad. Heavy Metal and Epic were outshining them but warren still had a stable of incredible artists, and some really bad new ones. The good outweighs the bad you just have to get past that first story and the third and fourth covers.

Currently Pete the Cat books are my 6 year old's favorite books. He really enjoys reading them to me. I was happy to find this set and he was so happy when it arrived!

I love encouraging my kids to read. I have noticed it helps a great deal if they have books they are interested in. This set of Pete the Cat books really got my son excited about learning to read. He is only five, so these are right at his level. This set includes 5 books at a great price. They are all stored in the handy box, to keep them in one place. We love Pete the Cat's cool attitude and the books are cute and fun.

Pete the Cat is my son's favorite at the moment. It started when he came home from school and brought home a Pete the Cat book and I must say, I absolutely fell in love with Pete after reading the book he brought home. Soon after, I saved money here and there just to be able to buy him some more. These books were his weekly reward for doing good at school and every week he looked forward to receiving and reading these Pete the Cat book. If I were to ask him to pick a favorite he would tell me ALL OF THEM! I was glad to purchase this particular one because it came with 5 books plus a case (with a handle) to hold them in. Now he can take Pete the Cat wherever he goes.

My son absolutely loves Pete the Cat! The box they came is a great way to keep up with them and allows for easy travel. They are cute little stories and great for a beginning reader. My son is 6 and is doing great!

Great, well-priced gift set. We really love Pete the Cat books, they have great lessons. My favorite is "Play Ball", it teaches such a great lesson about not being upset when you aren't the best at sports. In the book, Pete doesn't hit the ball, doesn't catch the ball, and gets out at home plate (on a walk), but he's not upset and is just happy for his teammates' success. Very well done without being too preachy.

These books are in great condition. They are brand new, big letters and bright colors. The stories are cute but simple. The books come inside a cardboard case (which was also wrapped in shrink wrap when it arrived). These were a gift for my little niece who loves to read (age 2.5) She will have to grow into them a little to read them herself but she has many stories read to her through the day. Great set for a young reader!

I bought these for my niece's 4th birthday. She is just starting to read on her own, here and there, so I thought I'd get her something that was a bit above the baby/toddler book level. I saw the Pete the Cat books and though he was very cute and the stories seemed fun. I know that when my niece likes something, she's going to want to use (or in this case, read) that item over and over. This means re-reading the same books for my sister and brother-in-law. These books look fun and amusing even for the adults. My niece is already obsessed with them and is working on reading them with her parents.I also love how affordable these books are. Even the single, soft-cover books are very low in price, which I think is so important for a book that will be lightly (or heavily) abused if you're giving them to children of a young age. They are also light, thin, and portable, especially with the case that this set comes in. I would highly recommend these.

I have a new reader! She asked for books, not toys, from Santa this year! This purchase was perfect as she will have many choices and make a new friend (Pete) in the process. Not only are the books delightful, they tickle her funny bone and she laughs. That tells me that she is doing much more than sounding words out, she is experiencing "reading comprehension."The books are packaged so nicely in the box with a velcro closure. The box is sturdy, not flimsy at all. I like that it will help encourage her to keep her books put away and tidy!The price of this set was about a quarter of what I would pay for one or two books at my local B&N. In fact I purchase all of her books on Amazon now, as the value is amazing!

Great for my older kid in Kindergarten. Because we make reading interesting, he has improved tremendously and is ahead of his curve now. He is one of my foster children and so it's also a plus that the books have every day situations that help us explain life and things to him.

I'm not normally one to write book reviews, but I feel this is an important book so I've got a few words to say about it. Firstly, Cathy O'Brien was so lucky to have Mark Phillips come into her life. Very few men would be willing to sacrifice their career, their home, their family, and all their worldly possessions to rescue and deprogram a CIA slave and her daughter. God's got a special place in heaven for that man. Secondly, I highly recommend acquiring some background information related to the subject matter of this book to prepare yourself before diving in. A few suitable topics of research could be Project Paperclip, the child sex trafficking ring run through Boys Town in Nebraska, or the activities at Bohemian Grove. If you don't feel like having to do a lot of preliminary reading there are documentaries on these subjects posted on You Tube, as well as Wikipedia articles. Otherwise, the information you will learn from this book will be so shockingly horrible to you that you won't be able to believe it. I have a BA in Criminal Justice and a BA in Psychology and have studied plenty of disturbing things, but this book is the most disturbing thing I've ever read. What's most disturbing is this activity goes all the way up to our highest levels of government. The people who are supposed to protect us are actually the ones who are victimizing us. Get ready to unplug from the matrix, America.

The Deep State appears to be a brotherhood of individuals, crossing party lines, who seek to instill a One World Order and who seek to implement mind control psychology over their minions, ie, the rest of us. Cathy O’Brien chronicles her sickening life story as a mind controlled victim and names names of, as she calls them, perpe-TRAITORS. Some very familiar names are mentioned, the leader among them being George H. Bush. Even President Reagan is not exempt from the perversions encouraged in this mind controlled One World Order — and he freely and consciously partakes of these perversions. Another interesting fact to emerge is that NAFTA was born out of the CIA’s (Bush’s) desire to control the drug and sex trade traffic flowing across the Mexican border; this during the Reagan administration and at the same time President Reagan’s wife, Nancy Reagan, appealed as First Lady to “Just Say No” to drugs, as drugs were literally pouring into the country through CIA operations, many of which are chronicled in this book. My stomach turned throughout reading this book and I wonder if there are ANY men and women in power whom one can trust? This book is an awful, but necessary, revelation. I thank the authors and their bravery for writing it. It needs to be read by everyone who wants a country for their children and their children’s children. America is certainly not ready to be great again, although I applaud the current president for trying. He at least is steering the ship AWAY from a One World Order.

If you have been sheltered all of your life or curl up every night to read fiction romance or sci-fi after watching the main stream media news, then this book will be hardcore reading. Cathy has been through a lot and I’m not talking about petty things like losing a job. I wonder how she is still alive. The CIA’s MK Ultra program, project Monarch that her and her daughter survived may be beyond the realm of your imagination but is not beyond the realm of activities from the government officials or anyone with a great deal of wealth. How well do you know any of the elected officials? You only know what they want you to know. From all the names she called out in this book not one has come forward to defend their “good” name. Could it be because it would call further attention to them? After all, this would have to be taken to court as slander. Or could it be that it’s true? After all Bill Clinton did not have relations with that woman.!!! I admire Cathy for her openness and graphic accounts so that we can know what lies deep in the hearts of some of the people that ran/run this country and churches and their agendas. I’m writing this in Dec of 2015 and know that what she says is possible. Just look at our country now! There is no empathy, loyalty or constitution left “For the People”. It’s a good thing that Mark was around and cared enough to go through hell for those two. I’m just sorry for her, her daughter and the others who have a horrible story like that to tell. Nobody should ever have to go through that, children especially. It’s all so heinous. I would and have recommended this book to people I know that will appreciate Mark and Cathy’s story and learn from it.

FIVE STARS... not because I loved it... but because it helped me to connect some dots. This is a book that's best read in small doses. A complimentary book that needs to be read along side this book would be the 'Franklin Cover Up' by John W. DeCamp.
