Very nicely designed. Will hold your coins really well and will showcase them to perfection. It has a nice map with state names and perfect slots to fit your coins. Glue is not needed. You can flaunt your collection to guests and strangers alike.Now, why my use of past tense: Well, this item was stolen from my baggage while on an international trip. I guess, the thief would give it a 5-star review too!

I purchased this for my 6 year old who has developed an interest in coins. I figured that a good way for him to get started was to collect the state quarters - they are relatively easy to find, they will teach him about the states, and they are relatable for a 6 year old (he knows what states are and he knows what quarters are). This collector map is perfect for him (he actually hugged me when I gave it to him!). It's visually appealing (which is important to kids), it's sturdy, and it's got great information on it. It also gotten him curious about how money is made and how coins are designed.It has a velcro tab that keeps it closed, so it's easy to open, but stays shut as needed. The quarters go in securely so there is no chance of them falling out. It's got lots of great information on it, like the years of issue and facts about each state. Also, since it's laid out as a map, it's a great way for kids to get familiar with US geography.Only slight downside is that it only has one slot for each quarter, so you have to decide to focus on D or P quarters, or just not care about the mint. My son, the avid consumer, solved this by suggesting we order one more. That way he could collect both. I've agreed since I really like this collectors map and it will keep him saving his quarters for longer.

We haven't. Put ot into action yet so I may comeback and update this. My daughter (5) is old enough for a hobby and wanted one. We narrowed down the choices to coin collecting and stamp collecting. She choose coin collecting wi we are saving it for Christmas. She already loves coins. I feel this will be a great way to teach history, geography, culture, patience and even how to save money.The size and quality (based on the feel of it) are amazing. Its a large book. It feels incredibly sturdy. We already have a ton of quarter (not all) because when we mentioned her choice is hobbies on facebook, our whole family started sending quarter. This might fill up quick. But then we will be doing the penny books. Lol.

I like the recess provided with each coin slot for this purpose.good and concise description of the states and overall a nice item to hold on to and display.nice and sturdy cardboard, but not too heavy.Consnothing significant.. minor points to mention which might be a bit of surprize.size: some people might find the size (even after folding) bit large.Extra slots: the album contains slots for the DC & US territories Quarters released in 2009 in addition to the 50 states.while the 50 state quarters are not that hard to find these 2009 quarters (Guam, US Virgin Islands, Washington DC, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, and Northern Mariana Islands) are extremely hard to find in circulation. so chances are you might end up having your collection incomplete and have empty slots in the album.Summaryvery good product and certainly will recommend this.

It looks good and is very easy to use (yes, even though you are merely storing coins, there is a distinct difference in 'ease' of use of the three products).If someone put a gun to my head and asked me to point out a problem with this product, I'd say its the size. But, that being said, it still fits on my book shelf, so if not a hassle at all. Love it, and will return my 'official US mint' copy to get another one of these (Thats for my dad, he collects these coins too). Although compulsory courses in "process control" can be found in the chemical engineering undergraduate curriculum as early as 1950, the textbooks available were not practical for chemical engineering students. The publication in 1965 of "Process Systems Analysis and Control" by Coughanowr and Koppel codified the discipline and dominated the field in the next decade. The emphasis of this and other similar textbooks was on the mathematical techniques (algorithms and modeling) of analysis. There developed a gap between academic theory and industrial practice, where practitioners placed greater emphasis on synthesis. In the 1980's and 1990's, textbooks providing a balance between analysis and synthesis of process control systems have appeared: (1) Stephanopoulos in 1984, (2) Seborg, Edgar and Mellichamp in 1989, (3) Morari and Zafiriou in 1989, (4) Luyben in 1990, (5) Ogunnaike and Ray in 1994 and (6) Marlin in 1995. This second edition of Seborg, Edgar and Mellichamp in 2003 is now one of the more popular books in Process Control.

Process dynamics and control is a vast subject, profoundly important for maximizing value in plant operations, but unfortunately often neglected by undergraduate students. This book by three of the most illustrious professors of chemical engineering distills their expertise and wisdom, as teachers with about 100 years combined teaching experience, into a highly accessible and cogent textbook. The book contains excellent discussions and expositions of just about all the technical concepts one would ever need in industrial practice. The example problems are juicy, to say the least, and complement the text very nicely. Those who know how to use Matlab or Mathematica will benefit hugely from solving the computer problems. In my opinion, this book should be a required text for all undergraduate chemical engineering programs, along with the book by Prof. Harmon Ray and B. Ogunnaike (Oxford).

I bought this book to teach myself about the process control systems found in plants. It is a very informative book, but asks very general questions, especially regarding the creation of dynamic equations for various systems. This is something that I appreciate, but there is no way to check my work to see if I am approaching the problem correctly. I have tried to find the solutions online, but the only way I could get any is if I was a teacher/professor registered with Wiley.

It can be helpful to know the background of the person leaving the review: I obtained both a Bachelor's and Master's degree from the University of Toledo, and for the last three years, I have worked both as a process and process control engineer in industry (2007-2010). Before I purchased a process control book, I did much research and I know now that I made the right decision. Whether you are student who is trying to learn process control for the first time or if you are already in your career (academia or industry), this is a book that combines the best of both worlds--technical precision and real-world application.I personally read through this book myself; it helped greatly as I had to learn quickly about control systems and multi input-multi output (MIMO) control systems. It was a good read; that is, it wasn't too difficult. Now, I use this as another great chemical engineering reference in my collection. This was a great buy and I would highly recommend it for anyone at any stage in his/ her chemical engineering pursuits.

Very boring bland book with examples that were not very helpful. Nothing was aimed at real world examples which does not help a student relate to why the curriculum is useful.

Basic knowledge and understanding of process control is needed and this book is great for viewing examples of process control.

I thought this book was incredible! David Wilcock is a genius and draws so much information together in a concise and factual way. His writing is interesting and an easy read. I enjoyed this book very much, as I do all of his books. He is an amazing person and everyone who cares about the history of our planet should read this book. Bravo David! This is a book I will recommend to everyone!

Great insights and information in this book. Originally I came from a skeptical perspective but unlike most people I followed the science trail to prove or disprove the author David Wilcock. Over the years, I began to verify more than I imagined and realized the claims many people say to be false, are not false, but in fact as yet to be proven or disproved. A learned view considers all perspectives rather than simply dismissing everything as pseudoscience. A message I believe is lost upon too many. It is a painstakingly long and arduous task but if you decide to follow the trail of verification and do so in a manner of due diligence, you will find many things we have been told and taught in our lifetime are in fact false or at the very least highly questionable.

I think the editing is vastly improved over the Source Field Investigations but still has too much High school level writing mechanics. Nonetheless, I highly recommend this book as well as Source Field Investigations. My review of that book was a bit more harsh, and to be fair David's writing ability obviously continues to improve with this work. I give it 3 stars because if David really focuses on WRITING he could produce something truly magnificent. I am aware that David is a researcher, not a writer and he has an incredible gift of finding and condensing vast amounts of material, making connections across multiple disciplines, and most importantly, is able to communicate these complex concepts to a lay audience. When he is writting about his research, it is free flowing and wonderful to read, but to me there is a very obvious break in contunity, pace and diction, when he goes into the personal narrative of his life and how the topics of his research have intertwined within it. I think David would better serve his audience and frankly himself, by writting a book solely about his personal experiences and philosophical/spiritual development. That way he would not be constrained by the topic he is researching and it would offer a larger space from which to write authenticly about himself. The narative aspects of this book feel incredibly contrived, are unintegrated, and are frankly poorly written for a book with such fascinating information; ultimately to me it just doesn't fit well and David's 'story' disturbs my absorption of the awesome topics Wilcock presents and presents rather eloquently for the most part.Obviously David doesn't read these reviews but just in case, I would highly recommend he read the book 'Four Fish' by Paul Greenberg as an example of how to seemlessly weave a personal narrative (as well as integrating many multiple disciplines) into a research novel.

Mixed, with some excellent informative material, and then sections that are amateurish in writing style as well as new age"feel good" material. Some sections are brilliant and well organized and IMPORTANT and others, well, they dilute the work as a whole. That said, IT IS WORTH READING, AS SOME PARTS OF THIS ARE TOTALLY RIVETING. The book overall needs a good editing job, especially the after death experiences section. I think the Tibetan Book of the Dead and the theosophical teachings provide a more balanced view.However, Wilcock's research is valuable, and I have pre-ordered his next book. I am a fan, and at the same time, have reservations about some of the sections of this book.

If I was an administrator or instructional coach, I would give this book a 5 star ratings. It covers a variety of important topics - from how to get more devices into the hands of students, to how a teacher can set up a blended learning classroom. As a teacher, I found the last 1/2 the most important and the first 1/2 of the book less significant. I'm not concerned about how to get devices for the entire school or motivating all teachers at a site. My main concern as a teacher, is how to get my classroom started. Other teachers can do what they want. Having said that, the second 1/2 of the book is vital and incredibly important. There were templates to help me write my first blended unit, suggestions for how I can motivate students, ideas for how I can support students who finish early. All in all, a great book about blended learning!

Well written and structured to provide information to a wide variety of audiences. Educational Leaders desiring to learn about blended learning will find a lot of useful information. Some teachers may desire to skip parts meant for leadership, however, I think some teachers who read the sections for leaders may find the urge to move into more of a leadership role 🙂

The pace was comfortable and I could skip around and read the parts that I was interested in and the order that made sense to me . This would be a good fit for people who are interested in blended learning, and who would like an overall picture of the topic. The real-life examples were also very helpful.
